- I was born in South America and grew up in the N.E. I have been a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity for over 4 years. I just got accepted into the Peace Corps leaving for Ghana in September 2007.

I think of you daily!!! I wish I could just come down the stairs to your desk and soak up your wisdom - I appreciated you before, but now, I realize just how blessed we ALL were to have had you come through our lives.
I hope you are feeling strong, inspired and confidant that you are going to make a difference in the lives of the people you will soon come to know.
I miss you and can't wait to hear of your experiences! I'm eager to receive your permanent address - I'll definitely be sending a care package...I remember how much that made me feel closer to home.

Hi Everyone,
All is well with me in Ghana, thank you all so much for your notes to me I really appreciate them. I just got back from a 5 day trip around Ghana visiting small businessess in the country, it was educational and fun. I got sick all is well now still adjusting to the food and water. The new language is challenging but fun, but I will still graduate on Nov. 27th and head out to WA in the Upper West Region of Ghana, check out Rachel's map. I love you all and thanks for your thoughts and prayers and letters. On your mail to me you should put West Africa on the last line of the address.
Hi there all volunteers here is a resource you can use while in Ghana . www.africaspix.com is a site that allows your loved ones back in the States to sends you pics and photocards via the net for pickup next day in Accra . Check it out its really cool.
